get the test now and again every three months. i have type "c" and it is no fun to live with. be care full and get tested often. contray to what some people are telling you Hep"c" is a blood borne pathogen and there is no vaccine for it. you can get Jaundices(yellow skin) with type B or type A also. that is more common. once you have type "C" it is there for life.

I had hepatitus C years ago. I suspect it was from the dentist. That was the period of time before they had to wear gloves. All of a sudden I got so violently ill I didn't know what was wrong. Thought it was the flu. After about 5 days my skin began turning yellow. I then went to the doctor and found out it was heatitus C but there was nothing they could treat it with at that time. I just got better on my own after awhile. My whole family had to have gamma globulin shots though to prevent them catching it. They never did catch it thank heavens.

Don't wait ! I have Hep C and underwent the drug theapy and it is now in remission. If you do test positive see a doctor immediately> The sooner you start treatment the less damage it will do.
