why do people date other people over the internet whjy would anyone want to cuz u cant touch them or kiss them or anything like that and besides they could be a rapist

See, my fiance and I "met" on the internet. We didn't develop a love connection on the internet, rather we just met up a week after chatting. We were bored and we decided to go to the theater. We met in a public place, talked to each other and got to know each other a bit. From there, we hung out more and more and we got to know each other more. It's now 7 years since then and we're getting married soon.
I do agree with what you are saying about how people can date someone from the net. I don't believe that anyone can fall in love with another person through the internet, rather, I believe that meeting, knowing the person in real life is essential to make any relationship work. Although I've "met" my husband to be on the net, we did what everybody else did in real life. We hung out together and became friends before anything else developped.
People who date others on the net have to be careful. The person they are chatting with can be displaying a false image of who they are. It's really easy to hide behind words and play pretend...
Meeting people from the internet somehow is like meeting someone in a club or a bar. It's just another way to meet people... However, that's as far as it can go. In love with words? Please....

Thats very contradicting. You say that they can't touch or kiss each other but then say the other person could be a rapist. Well they wouldn't be raping them now would they?? Maybe people do it so dumb people like you will ask ignorant questions. Why do you care? Its not you or your life is it? Don't judge others hon because odds are you aren't so great yourself.

Are you referirng to cyber dates? Cause, in that case I have no idea and I think that is just frieken weird. What do they do... look at the websites at the same time?
If you are referring to dating websites, that's different. I have two friends who met their wives on a dating website. These are normal people, who were to wrapped up either in their career or in their education that they didn't have anytime or were tired of the bar scene.

bcuz they cant find love on their own so they figure they shoudl go on the internet and find some perverted 40 yr old who lives in his mother's basement that will soon have raped them then statched them in his closet.when, they could've had their friends hook them up on a blind date, the'll probably end up in a closet soon 2 b pregnant.
yup, im sure they loved making that decision.
they dont intend 2 do that, but when they do, they sure r asking for it.
