My hair is long and, not stick straight, but pretty straight. It's about medium thickness. How can I get the slightly wavy hair? I tried tying it up in a bun or braid while it was wet and letting it dry that way, but it didn't turn out exactly like I wanted. And I'm not good with a curling iron. I want very irregular waves that start below the chin. When I did the braid thing, it looked okay the next day after I had slept on it and the waves got looser, but any idea how to achieve this look to begin with? And any specific products to use? Thanks!

Braid your hair while it's damp and sleep on it. When you wake up take the braids out and you'll have a nice wave. If it's too kinky, hit it with the hair dryer for a few minutes.

Try doing the braiding again and then combing it after its dry. That should loosen the wave for you.

use pantene perfect curls shampoo and use its oil replacement cream while its still damp then crunch ur hair with ur hands and hold it up with a clip then let it dry and ull see results immediatly!

Do that after every bath and i promise ull see results with out using the oil replacement cream in just about 2 weeks, its really incredible plus it doesnt damage ur hair at all,in fact it made my hair healthier!

Actually you might want to try these roller things that are actually more like fabric over padding over wire... they'er white - I can't remember what they're called! You roll pieces of hair onto them and just twist the wire to hold them. It makes natural-looking curls, and they aren't hard and crunchy like other rollers.

i try really hard not to blow dry or get wind in it when its still wet. i just keep it really calm and put some towels on my pillow and sleep. i think it looks better the next day if you dont wash it on the following night. and my hair looks better in the summe in CA.

i in my opinion like curly/ wavy hair on men. attempt to not straighten it. it commonly looks ideal despite if it particularly is not too long as in it particularly is not see you later that it covers your eyes yet do not cut back it fairly short the two.

What I do is I use hairspray (I like Aussie Sprunch) and while my hair is still wet, I spray it all over & scrunch it.. when it dries, it's wavy.

spray hair with water and then hair spray, put hair up into a bun for a few hours and then let your hair loose
