I just dyed my daughter's hair blue! Now she wants it pink!

I had to use a stripper to lighten my daughter's hair first. And I used blue hair dye from the beauty supply store...but you can use koolaid mixed with just enough water to make a paste. Apply..wait about 10 minutes, rinse off. It's temporary (the dye I used was semi-permanent)

There are spray ones that can be found at beauty supply stores, and ones in squirt bottles at party stores (usually around Halloween. But those make your hair kinda chunky and aren't the best to use on your whole head). Most of the all-natural dyes are permanent.

You can't. Well, you can, but you won't get what you are looking for. You can buy a temporary color and put it in, but without bleaching it first, it will look drab.

Do you only want it for a day or two?? Go to a beauty supply store (sally beauty) and buy a spray in color. It's colored hairspray and will wash out right way. Because it sits on the hair, it will make the color vibrant.

Kool Aid works great, My daughter went through the phase of wanting to color her hair. You can wash it out in two or three washes, Just make sure that it dries before bed. Or if you want to see just what it looks like for a few minutes, then let it semi dri and wash it out.

I read that you can rinse your hair with cranberry juice and that will add a temporary tint to the hair especially if it is light to begin with. Also at the beauty supply store like Sally's they have spray in hair color or color you apply with a wand like comes in mascara. You'd probably have to ask the attendant at the store.

i'm a beautician & my kids use markers on their hair. their hair is light brown too and it shows up fine. i'd do that before i'd put anything that lasts 6 weeks in it. if she decides she wants to keep it like that for awhile you can purchase temporary color at sally beauty supply. hope this helps(koolaid works too)

to make sure it turns out a true pink or blue, and not a brownish pink or blue, you would have to bleach it first. of course, bleaching hair is not temporary, so you might not want to do that.
