I'm a drinker for about 8 yrs. but the fact that I've never been to bar places.........It feels me so naive.....Can you please help me out.....What a bar place looks like inside,is it free to seat in the center tables and chairs.........You know......Do I have to pay first before ordering...........

It totally depends on which bar you go to. Some bars are considered "dive bars", which basically means they will smell like stale beer, body odor and have poor decorations, if any. "Sports bars" have a million TV's, a bunch of guys with their favorite team jersey on and are usually very loud with people talking. Some high class bars require reservations, have velvet seats and are decorated like a really fancy hotel room and no one talk to each other. Most commonly, you can sit wherever there is an open seat or table. Bars are usually smoky - not as common in CA because we have laws which prevent people from smoking inside. Bars usually have music playing, sometimes a live band. You should go to a couple and find out for yourself.

where I live no it does not cost money to go in unless there is a good band playing, and the best place is to be at the bar, and as for what it looks like inside depends on the type of bar you go into. and all good bars charge you when or after you get your drink, if you want more help just ask.

It really depends on the bar. They have so many different kinds. I don't know of many that seat you though. Some bars will let you run a tab, but most don't.

it looks pretty much like what u see on TV shows. Free seating mostly unless there are reserved seats. depends on the bar tender, mostly u pay after u r served.

it depends on where you live, you should look for a lounge and you pay when you get your drink unless you start a tab and usually you have to have a credit card...And some places have cover charges esp if they have bands
