It takes Time...distract yourself by spending time with friends, taking up a hobby or class...do things that keep you from sitting at home and thinking about it...

You will get over it, it just depends on when you allow yourself to...it's not easy, I know...take care of you and know that the sun will shine again...

I think you just wait it out, really. There's no secret way of speeding up the mourning process, just let yourself grieve, and then you'll be able to move on.

Keep your chin up - it might not feel like it now, but things will get better.

you will never get over a person that you really loved you will always love them. and men dont know what they have they dont respect women and we allow it, you just have to give him time and try not to hound him. leave him be hell see this isnt bothering you and will come around. men have a tendancy to like drama where he thinks two or more women are interested in him. men are in secure showing him you aint interested will bring him around

I have been in a similar situation. I got over this particular person in a horrible way, but it worked. We were extremely good friends, and to me, he was my crush. One night, we kissed. We weren't dating...we just kissed. We didn't talk about it, and somehow, both of us pretended it never happened even though I couldn't get it out of my head. I fumed about it for weeks. Finally I psyched myself out enough to learn to hate him. I had wasted too much time on him, so I acted as horrifically as I could toward him. I ignored him. I never spoke to him. I needed to get it in my head that it wasn't worth it. I had wasted way too much time on him. It's a psychological fight you have to play on yourself, really.

Start going out, keep busy.
Distract yourself and maybe start dating again.
