yeah do as before or try left ctrl - shift and escape altogether

the click on processes - make a note of each and look at the one that is taking the most cpu - the goto google and put this into the search bar - this may give you vital clues ----- and ignore the system idle process

if you computer is a bit old the system indexing can cause a problem whe it updates it self - you can turn this off though as long as you don't mind a longer search on you system if you are looking for any system fike (does not effect internet searches)

turn this off - click start then run type services.msc - scroll down the list until you find indexing services - double click on it - in the drop down box ensure the disabled is selected

hope this helps

Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe (FREEWARE) at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

ALL ELSE FAILS - RELOAD YOUR O/S (WINDOWS) AND THEN REINSTALL ALL OTHER PROGRAMS YOU NEED/USE!
