There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Love is when the person your with leaves the room and you miss them already, Love is when your heart and body shiver when the phone rings, and you know its your other half. Love is when you wake up in the morning and thank god that you get another day with the one you have next to you. and finaly. Love is loving that person more today than yesterday, and more tomorrow than today.

Great Feeling for another person beyond the extent of reason. People that are in love are drawn to each other one way or another. Love can't be controlled by the brain, it overides logic.

hi, you sound like the rock band "foreigner", u wanna know what love is,,,,,,love is a feeling that is buried deep inside of u, it is activated by the eyes, the eyes see someone, they contact that feeling called love deep inside of u, then theres approval from this feeling which becomes expressed physically, love the feeling is inside of you and when u meet someone, u will know if their eyes have activated the love inside of them to correspond with ur love, if so then you will find urself next to this person, good luck,,,,scorpion

It's a feeling, a bond, a non tangible essence.
It's not one single action.
Telling someone you love them isn't love, showing them you love them isn't love, when nothing in the world matters but that one significant other, there you go.... love.

love is not a question to ask. the question is how do i learn to love.
When you talk to your mother, father and so on, do you give them the respect and care? If you answer yes you do, than maybe you can learn what love is. ask your self this too. "do I love me?" If you do not know the answer search for it.
