I like all kinds of breads, but my first choice is fresh wheat yeast rolls, potato, then white yeast rolls. Biscuits only for breakfast.

Combination, if one has the time. Variety of side dishes and such helps to liven up the Main Dish...and keeps costs down on serving up too much meat (expensive) while everyone stuff themselves with the delicious sides.
I love baking rolls and if I have time, I will get into it because, sometimes they more you have a variety of, they more you can find out your guests particular tastes or what recipe everyone prefers, better than having 1 or 2 and chancing that a all will love but then a few won't touch them at all.

But if I must choose:
White rolls,
big honkin soft biscuits,
potato rolls,
then yeast rolls...
