there is no shame in saying your body has gotten addicted to the morphine. you do not sound like an abuser, but your body is used to having the chemical in your body and your brain may be addicted as well. going to a detox or other rehab center may give you the chance you need to become totally independent of the drug, and a staff and or support group to help cope with any psychological issues you may have. good luck.

I doubt if you would be able to be admitted to the hospital for such a small dose of morphine. If you have 24 left you could try going to half a pill until they are gone and they stop. On the other hand you can always stop cold turkey and after 2 or 3 days you would adjust. Trust me, all inmates into the jail where I work detox cold turkey from all drugs whether they want to or not, they do not go to the hospital and they survive. In fact they are back to human within 5 days. This should be no problem for you whatsoever to eliminate this in the controlled environment you have to work with.

Hi, just got a pain pump Dec 9,2013, I was on 1160mg I had no idea how hard it was going to be to detoxing off the last of my morphing after visiting my doctor and having my bolus doses adjusted for my pump I assumed that the bolus doses would take care of any withdrawal effects so I opted to cold turkey though morphine pills, today is day five and am telling you it is really been a rough I jumped off from 60 mg to nothing and I don't know if I would suggest someone to do that. My doctors, one of them suggested to back down one 30 mg pill a week and then go to one half of 30 mg pill a day than lengthen the time in between the half pills at the very last. If you have enough medication to get through with this schedule this might be the way to do it I wish I gone that way it's been rough but I'm going to make it now than him this far through. Good luck to you, good luck with your pump was nice to see hear somebody else going through the same kind of predicament have a good day today!

The best and most assured way to detox from anything is to ask the Lord to help. If you are serious about quitting, this will work. I have had multiple addictions to drugs, cigarettes, etc. and the only thing that worked was Jesus. Everything was gone in one day! It's been 2 years since I've had anything and it was not me because I never could do it by myself. If you plan to do this at home you need a good christian woman (preferably an older prayer warrior) to stay with you or just in contact with you. There is a way out and His name is Jesus. I'll be praying for you.

I would at the very least be in contact with a doctor about this. Detoxing from opiates can be very nasty and you will feel really rotten for some time while you are detoxing.
The biggest risk for those detoxing from opiates is seizures. If you have ever had a seizure in the past, tell your doctor about it. You didn't mention any other health concerns that can affect you.
If you have concerns that you may be addicted or are becoming addicted to the morphine, you should share your concerns with your doctor. only s/he will know the exact method for you to detox.
Good luck to you.

You may not need to go to the hospital -- sounds like you've done a great job at cutting back on your own! When I had a drinking problem five years ago, my doctor gave me Librium, and I've heard that works with other addictions as well -- premeditative or accidental (as in your case, accidental). I was an alcoholic for 10 years, and the Librium helped immensely -- best wishes, and my prayers are with you!
P.S. -- be very careful if your doctor does prescribe Librium; it also has addictive qualities. However, as long as I had been a drinker, I never had problems with addiction to Librium; it serves as a sedative-type medication, and will calm the cravings for opiate-released drugs.)

at first if the eggs are no longer fertile they gained't hatch. then you definately want a fowl to sit down down on them and if that is not a sitting fowl, it somewhat is wanting to sit down down then it won't stay with the eggs. Or an incubator to do the warming.
