Jiffy corn bread, in my own opinion is the best b/c it is a little on the sweet side.

It depends on how you like it. If you like it sweet, eat it sweet. If you like it "not sweet", which is slightly salty, eat it slightly salty. It also depends on where you're from. People from the Southern states, especially Louisiana, like their cornbread without sugar. They consider it bread and it shouldn't be sweet. People in the North, however, like it sweet. So sweet or not sweet, that's for you to decide.

Sweet. I didn't like it when my parents and grandparents tried to do it the other way but I did taste regular cornbread at Cracker Barrel and it was really good.
I guess it depends on who makes it to me.

My mom and grandma make theirs with about a tablespoon of sugar mixed in. You can't really taste it though.
