The doctor told me that if you get really bad pains you should start working out. Excersie makes the period pain less intense, and when you do get it heating pad MIDOL and some sleep. But the more your work out in your daily routine it helps with the flow of your period and the way you feel pain. Its worked for me you shouold try it.

Take Excedrin or some pain medicine. You may also try using one of the heat wraps that might work. Some people also say that you can get rid of them by exercising or sitting in a tub full of warm water.

i once tried to describe period pain to my partner. I said its as if god gets a vacum cleaner and tries sucking all of your insides out. You can sometimes have the doubled over pain where you cant do anything and even asprin doesnt work. sorry i dont know but keep taking the painkillers and it dose happen to the best of us. (a hot water bottle on the stomach or back sometimes eases it)

Midol is a menstrual relief over the counter medicine. Or a heating pad or ice on your lower back.

sorry I know I'm not a girl but I remember an ex girlfriend used to suffer alot from period pains. I got her some vitamin tablets to take and that really helped... I believe it was iron & calcium but my memory is a little foggy now.

Try taking alive for the two days before your period. I know it sounds crazy, but it helps with the inflammation of your uterus. Also during your period continue the alive, and use a heating pad. I've had horrible pain for years and this helped me. good luck.

In addition to over the counter pain relievers, you can try a heating pad, or if you can find them, those heat strips they have that stick to your back or abdomen (they even make them for knees too). I forget who makes them but if you go to Walgreen's or some place like that, you'll find 'em. Feel better!

ibuprofen helps get rid of most of the pain because it relives the swelling...drinking lots of water helps flush toxins out and also taking birth control pills.. the kind where you don't have your period for 4 months helps too.
