Can I do that and burn onto CD?

I dont have DSL on the computer needing the Win 98SE update...:)

The computer keeps freezing up after I install the network card, so thats why I have to do it the way I stated.

Sure, just visit the Windows 98 download center. There should be an option available to download updates to disk so you can copy them to a CD.

yes it works but SAVE the file don't run it, if the site allows you to,then you can copy it to cd rom.but if the older computer is runing why not let it down load the files?

why not let the win98 pc have the dsl long enough to update?

all you need is a cheap $10.00 network card.
