My fiancee just got back from Fort Leonard Wood in May and sorry to tell you but they have to write you first. If you don't know his platoon or anything then there isn't anything you can do to get an address. When exactly did he leave? I know it's really hard. 3 days after Derek (my fiancee) left I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant and going 4 months without him being there was really hard, but you will make it through. He will have time to send you letters. I have millions, but remember to save them because in a few months you'll love to look back and see what they say, and as soon as you get that first letter write him EVERYDAY. That letter from you means the world to him. Does he even have your address? Is there family you can contact to find out if they have received a letter? Well hope everything works out for you and if you need anything feel free to message me on ym because like I said...I just went through this a few months ago and I know how you feel. ~Linzie~

The length of time for training depends on his MOS. Ft Leanordwood is an OST site... One Station Training. That means he does his 9 week basic and goes right into his MOS training without moving to another duty station. They do it in one long session. http://www.wood.army.mil/3BDE/BasicTrainingMail.htm has the mailing addresses, but you need to know the specific unit. He will be ordered to mail a letter home within 72 hours, so if he doesn't get one to you, call his family.

I went their for basic traning aswell. That is a 12B traning place ( combat engr) His AIT is 5 weeks, that is why it will be 15 weeks long. he will have a 3 day weekend after basic before he gets into his traning. You can go visit him.
The first few days are very long. Once he learns how to manage his time he will be abl to write. Right now he has everything going at him from every direction. It will take a few days for it to settle down.
Now you getting his address I do not know that, or how to get sorry, but once he dose write send him lots of letters, that makes them feel good.

15 weeks is usually for Infantry soldiers (the ones on the front line in war). You really cant get an address until he writes you because there are different companies there. Example: Charlie company 2/87, Bravo company 1/50, like that. They have plenty of down time like after 8pm if its still the same. Unless they are doing pushups.

Having trouble with this question. The Military within the first few days requests everyone to send letters to whom ever they want. The reason being the return mail is a moral boost to pump you up and get you motivated. Not sure why he has not sent you a letter, but I'm sad to say it does not look good.

it is going to take a touch over 2 hours counting on site visitors from around the airport and downtown. it is about 100 and fifty miles. Be vareful using by ability of Rolla, as there are a form of speed traps. sturdy success and luxuriate in captivating Missouri!
