I have 3 cowlicks...and it is all about the cut....you must inform your stylist of your cowlick and if they are good they will cut your hair so that even you will not notice.

You really can't do anything except get them cut right. If you already have bangs tell your stylist to cut them so they look even..not so they are even. Have her cut them dry without putting any tension on them. Putting tension on them (holding them between your fingers and pulling) causes them to bounce up when you let go.. this makes your cowlicks even shorter. They should be left down and cut w/out holding them.. this will make them appear even even though they will be longer in the cowlick area.

My best suggestion is not to have bangs.. or to have thicker bangs, which will help weigh them down

I felt a similar way earlier I were given part bangs years in the past. actual when you get out of the bathe comb your hair to a part section, then blow dry the bangs in route of the part that you want them to stay to inform the tale. then you really only straighten then and they're going to stay =] you may positioned hairspray in case you want yet its fairly no longer needed.
