My son has it. Unfortunately he also has the violent rages that a lot of Autistics have. My son was offically diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder, but his behaviors are a lot like an Asperger Syndrome child.

I know about five people in my area with Autistic children.

You're more than welcome to message me if you'd care to chat more.

I have 2 grands that are Autistic. The girl is 15 and the boy is 5. It was a very long fight to get the right answers with the 15 yr. old It was a lot easier with the 5yr.. This is a much mis-diagnosed illness. Many schools would like to drug these kids but the decision should be your and your alone. There are many web sites to go to so take advantage of them and any support groups you can find. They will be of immense help to you. Above all, remember that these kids are very unique and don/t fit into a mold. Let them go with their flow, with in reason, and they and you will be very happy and successful. I read somewhere that Bill Gates has Autism and that makes me think that so-called eccentrics are just that. Good luck

A lady I worked for has a son who has autism. She has an older boy and then had a heck of a time getting preggers a second time. The second child is the one who is autistic.

I know a gilr who has autism. She is very sweet and social and excitable. Austistic people have very special and loving qualities, but can be as frustrating as anyone else :) Much love to you and your son.

I'm not an expert but I've worked with autistic kids. i've realized that most of them seem to have a very good talent somewhere. It just needs to be discovered and they just need to be encouraged. One kid I worked with could play mozart just by listening to it. another had picasso level art skills.
