C-section for dog is just like c-section for human; taking the babies out through surgery. If your dog is healthyly pregnant, she wouldn't need a c-section. the mom will know how to deliver the babies herself. When she is giving birth, keep an eye on her but don't strare at her. If she shows any sign of difficulties in giving birth, call the vet then he/she will decide if a c-section is necessary.

C section is short for Cesaerian Section, which means the dog cannot give birth naturally, so the doctors have to make an incision and take the puppy out of her womb manually.

They put the dog to sleep to do this. When she wakes up, she'll be fine. :)

The vet will do surgery on the dog and remove the puppies through a cut in her stomach. Instead of her going into labor and pushing them out the normal way.

It's a Caesarian Section - delivering the puppies (or any baby, regardless of species) by cutting the mother open, instead of having them delivered via the birth canal.

It is major surgery.
They will cut your dogs belly open and then cut open her uterus and remove the puppies through her abdomen.
They have to do it if your dog can not deliver her puppies naturally.
It is very expensive to have one done on a dog and it is major surgery.
