There are companies that will come to your house and take care of the birds. Look in the yellow pages under pet sitters. Be sure to ask for references and check them. They should be licenced, bonded and insured.
Do you go to church? See if someone from the youth group will watch them.

Dog boarding facilities here in the states often board other small animals and birds as well or they have staff that will come by and check on the animals for a fee. You could also ask at the vet if there is a trustworthy teen who might want the job. There are also professional house sitters/pet sitters. Make sure they are bonded so you don't get robbed blind. Bonded means they are insured.

See if there is a neighbor who can watch them or maybe a friend or family member who can come to the house. If you ask around or look on the internet you can probally find a professional pet sitter who will come to your house but they tend to be kind of expensive espcially with the high gas prices

Best to leave it with friends or relatives if possible. Alternatively contact your local RSPCA, or rescue centre, as there are a few places that board smaller animals.

Budgies. I would see if you can leave them in a nursing home or prison. They would be theraputic there.

No prob not..however talk to your neighbors(ones that you trust) - young teens & older kids that they probably have will do it for a low charge.
