My mother always told me that people make mistakes and that is how we learn! So why do people have a problem with it when we are wrong? Shouldn’t we all just understand? We all make mistakes don’t we?

The answer is nothing is wrong with being wrong. Every human on this planet is wrong at some point in their life.

What seperates the truly intelligent and the hopelessly ignorant is the humility to admit our wrongs, and the strength to learn from them.

I sure hope this is the right answer

Yes, we all make mistakes, as all humans do. Unless you're one of those that are "always right", which, by the way immediately shows that they are wrong.
Your Mom is right, we DO learn from our mistakes, hopefully. But again, look at the number of people in prisons for repeat offenses. In their cases, they did not learn from previous mistakes.
Personally I don't have a problem with people that are wrong, unless they just keep doing the same thing over and over. After that, I tend to be a little less forgiving.
Listen to your Mom, their usually right!

I have no problems when people make honest mistakes. I do have a problem with people who don't bother to learn the truth or to learn the correct answer before stating it as fact. I also have a problem with someone who doesn't learn from their mistakes. I can't stand it when someone is given the correct answer over and over and then continues to supply the 'mistake' as fact.

I don't why this question is in the religion section or if you are referencing a particular matter, but yes, we should be sensitive to mistakes, but people should do everything they can not to make them.

But some mistakes are worth not doing. Such as murder, wouldn't you agree? But what is wrong with being wrong? My point is this: there are different degrees of being wrong. Murder is far worse than, say, eating two meals in one day instead of two and a healthy snack. However, I'd also like to point out seemingly small "wrongs" can be deadly. Such as, if you are deathly allergic to peanuts yet do not know it, and you consume one. Guess what? Small wrong, big consequences. But was the wrong really small? No. Same with Jesus. If He was who he said he was, if we are wrong....we're REALLY wrong!

Mama is right - just that some people keep making the same mistakes lots of times.

Yeah we all make mistakes, but no one likes to admit they are wrong. Its just a fact of life.

There is nothing wrong with being wrong...i'm wrong all the time. As a matter of fact...I am wrong more then I am right so I guess it just boils down to me getting really hopeful that i am right!!!!!
