We just found out today that my dad has a blood clot and I'm only 12. I'm very nervous, help me please pray, he might have surgery!

sure clara ..god be with you & your father . dont worry they might start with medecines that would dissolve the clot without any surgical intervene . dont be nervous instead make it easier on your father .

Hi there Clara: good thing they found it now. Sometimes people aren't so lucky and these things can travel around the body and cause problems, but if your dad is being treated, then there's a really really good chance he's going to be just fine. Medicine today has lots of options to treat clots before they become a threat to your health. As for praying.. consider it done!

Hey Clara they found the clot and thats half the battle-now he's getting medicines to shrink and dissolve the clot.I've seen this many,many times and patients who we know have clots tend to do very well with medical treatment

yes, you and your dad are in my families prayers. hope for the best and depending on where the clot is will depend on procedure and removing it. This is done quite regularly these days normally with coumadin which is a blood thinner. Try not to worry so much and just focus on getting him better
