Sorry about your bird, that's sad. You can't sue the pet shop regardless. Pets pass away, it just happens. 24 years is a very long time. Maybe you can get another bird, might be good therapy for you.

If you're still stressed about it after 24 years... means you're addicted to stress... and you might be on the edge of getting over it... suing would be a good thing to stay stressed about this issue... so, if it turns you on... go for it! Drugg addiction works the same: they just want more and stronger.
