It depended on who I was with. I dated a few LDS women and I did not want to offend them. Most of them probably knew I drank, but I would not do it in front of them until they said it was okay. I never had more than a glass of wine or a martini at dinner or a few beers at a game on any date whether it was a first date or tenth. I had a girlfriend who had too much to drink at a baseball game and we got removed. This was not our last date, but I think it was the beginning of the end for us. I think a drink is okay, but getting tipsy or beyond is not, nor is it okay if your date might get offended.

Why not. If your date has a drink, then why not join him or her too. I just feel people, especially women should be extra cautious when they go out. One drink should be enough, because it's what I typically consider social drinking. You really want to make a good first impression.

If he takes you to a bar a club or a really nice resturaunt
you probably should just don't drink too much because he might
get the wrong idea about you or something like that.

no i think u should drink on the first date because if u get drunk then then the guy u are with might try something so just be careful!!

yeah might as well show tham who you are on the first date rather than as you go along. this way if he doesnt like u for some reason or u dot like him for some reason, you dont have to waste time trying to get over it.

If you usually drink some kind of alcoholics; margarita, martini or similar, if don't choose a juice.
