Sure you can. All people are sinners of some sort. Now if you are in denial that ACTING on your homosexual urges is a sin, that might be a stumbling block for you, but that doesn't keep you from accepting Jesus as your savior and attempting to live your life according to his commands.

Yes, a Christian fundamentalist is someone who adheres to fundamental principles, there is no principle that says one cannot be homosexual.

SOME Christian fundamentalists may take the natural-law route, SOME may just be homophobic idiots who can't read the text they claim to live by, but certainly nothing would stop someone from being both Christian fundamentalist and homosexual.

Being homosexual is a sin, it doesn't mean that you can't be a Christian (not sure on the fundamentalist) people are sinners and if you believe in Jesus you are a Christian. God says many things are sins- divorce, rape, incest, stealing, lying, being prideful, greed, coveting (wanting what others have/comparing yourself to others) etc... but as hard as we may try we sin several times a day. Sinning keeps us from God because he hates sin, he is the opposite of sin. He gave us Jesus as a way to be forgiven. The thing is, we also need to repent of or sins. That is we need to turn back towards God, ask forgiveness and change. So many people forget that part. Being homosexual (like lots of other things) is sin and God forgives us if we 1)believe in Jesus 2) repent. I guess the next question is " Can a homosexual repent?" YES

also- the guy who put up Corth. 6:11 has it right---read it again
"...but you were washed (cleansed of you sins, forgiven)....in the name of Jesus..." (you can repent- therfore you can be tempted by this homosexuallity sin and overcome, be forgiven, washed clean AND FREED)

Well its simple..... The Bible, and God simply speak against Homosexuality, however being (gay) actually means being happy/weired as I recall... So in technicalitys (Yes) you can be so called gay and be a Christian whatever...

BUT -- NO -- you cant even become close to being a Christian if you "CHOOSE" to be a homosexual (male/female). God created Man, and Women. If you simply examine your physical bodies I believe that there is a certain piece of a man that fits perfectly into a women. (TO reproduce). Exits are NOT entries.

David and Johnathon btw, were NOT homosexuals if that may be your agrument. Jesus explains to us to Love others as ourselves, willing to simply die for one another and they had that Love, nothing mor than that.

God is a God of Love, yet He is a God that created us to make choices, and you can either Choose to Serve Him or not. Serving Him comes w/ a price, with sacrfices daily, and the worse thing about it is, it isnt easy to be Christian... Yet, the Life is so awesome, we have HOPE daily! Thankyou Lord.

Thankyou, and may you know Christ as Lord.

can you be a thief & a Christian fundamentalist? Remember the thief on the cross that acknowledged Jesus is God. He was saved. We are all sinners. We all have our temptations to deal with. As long as you repent, God will take you back even if you fall. God always provides a way out of temptation or sin.

I think you can be a Christian, but I seriously doubt you could be a Fundamentalist.

1Corinthians 6:9-11

1Co 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Read Verse 11. It is NOT permanent!

Actually, the old testament portion of the Bible condemns gay activity. It expressly prohibits men laying with other men. However, keep in my that this same section of the bible also says that it is lawful for a parent to stone their disobedient child to death! Not sure how much stock you want to put into this portion of the bible.

I think that if you stick to the teachings of Jesus, and not all of the dogmas that were invented around him, that you'll be fine.

No, christian biblical teaching is clearly against homosexuality. Sodom and Gommorah was infamously destroyed for the rampant sexual indiscretions. Remember though the bible not only teaches that homosexuality is sinful, so is sex outside of marriage. We're taught to not have sex or sexual impurity. Once married you are only to have sex with your husband/wife. That is the only sexual experience not frowned upon by God. Giving it to you straight up from the bible. You want verses i'll list them, but it's quite a long list so only if your serious will i supply them all.
