Always truthful about stuff that matters. However white lies are neccessary for loaded questions like "Do I look fat in these pants?". Avoiding is sometimes as bad as the truth.

It may be wrong but I don't all ways tell the truth and yes I do avoid answering certain questions at the beginning of the relationship because you don't really know the person so there are some things that are personal. If i am dating a person in a long term relationship then I try to be honest as I expect them to be honest with me.

Sometimes you have to agree with your partner just not to talk about certain things because despite what they say "IT CAN HURT A RELATIONSHIP". It really depends ofcourse on what truths your talking about. He doesn't need to know your sexual history unless it directly reflects on a current health issue. If your both tested and have a clean bill of health.. leave it at that. Some say it's best to put all the cards on the table but I've found through talking to others andn personal experience that not all has to be shared.

At the beginning of dating someone, I don't feel it necessary to "tell all." Only because you only share private things with those that you are close to and trust. This hasn't been established yet, and sometimes telling too much too soon can backfire on you. Only certain things in your life require complete honesty. Other things that won't make a difference in the relationship should only be brought up if it matters.

There are some questions that are out of line to ask someone else no matter what the situation. If you feel uncomfortable answering a question, then say so. Some people are just too nosy or plain rude so you have to tell them straight out.

I tell the truth, just not always the whole truth!
I might leave some details out completly. He doesn't have to know EVERYTHING about me; and I definatly don't want to know EVERYTHING about him.
Well, I guess that would be to items of my past,
some details should not be talked about with your bf.
But current events, I can blab on-and-on; probably too much!!!!!

i think it is almost impossible to tell the truth all the time to everyone, little white lies never hurt nobody, like when us girls ask "Do I look fat in this?" obviously our bf isn't gonna say ummm.. yeah go change. It's when lieing is constant and hurtful that it really becomes a problem.

Yes you should always tell the true. You do not want to have a relationship build on lies and mistrust. Don't avoid questions, It makes you look stupid.

I can't lie....I am a terrible liar....and my conscience won't let me, so I always tell the truth to whomever I am dating.

I am always 100% honest. However, there are certain questions that really should wait for for the right time.
