I just got a new standard schnauzer, salt & pepper is the colour.
Can you think of any short names (like two syllabs.) that are sweet and cute but not corny???

I have two minatures named Flether (Fletch) and Macky (McKay) out of Porridge. My friend has two also named Toby and Alfie. If I had another, I do like Wesley (Wesley Snipes - Blade). Few there that may help, enjoy your Schnauzer. Oh, and I did have another for 15 years named Winston who died a couple of years ago.

It'd be helpful to know the gender... but some good male names are -
Rosco, Toby, Oscar...
female names -
Annie, Ginger, Princess (don't like that one myself but... it's popular), Cleo (short for Cleopatra)
Really the best name for your pet is one that reflects some odd quality that your pet has. In the female names, I listed Annie because that's what we named our little puppy because she has a red coat and is fiercely independent... not afraid to stand up for herself although she's just a little girl. It reminded us of the orphan named Annie in the movie "Annie".
Look for traits your dog has that sets it apart from others and go from there. You won't regret it. =)
