Is it possible to hate someone but love them at the same time? I have an ex lover that hurt me really bad. We're not together anymore but the person still says they love me. I keep getting hurt and i hate this person w. a passion but part of me still loves them.

of course it's possible, we humans are very complicaed creatures, and gluttons for punishment.Once you love someone that love will always be there somewhere...lurking............but it is better to put it behind you , the sooner the better.

I kinda know what u mean. Before me and my gf were dating we flirted w/ each other all the time and I thought she liked me but then i found out she had a bf already. I was so pissed at her but i still loved her. they eventually broke up and i told her how i felt and we're toghether now.

i still love my first love, but i will never see him again. he is married now with children, and i believe he is very happy. I love him and i will always want him to be happy.
