Yes! Especially if it's an older cat. If kittens are just playing they don't care, but the adult cats are more *ahem* ..."dignified"... Our cat used to enjoy sitting atop the refridgerator and looking out on his "domain" until one day he stumbled and fell off, landed flat on his stomach. He wasn't hurt- only his ego, and when I burst into laughter, he just threw me a dirty look and stalked off.

That's why I have a dog. He's a WONDERDOG! He never does anything stupid or wrong in any way. I only laugh at him when he smiles so sweetly at me. He helps me with laundry, and yard work. He pre-rinses the pots and pans before the dishwasher and get the plates ready too. He keeps the yard bird free, even though they still seem to hover right over my windshield.
My doggie is the bestest doggie in the whole wide world, oh yes him is...uh huh...yeeeees him is!!! I wuv my wonderful doggie. I wuuuuv my doggie doggie doggie. Yets I do do do. He's a WONDERDOG!!!!! ***kissy kissy hug hug hug***

I think they just pretend I'm laughing at the dog...after all she is the one that is so far below them in their opinion. And no matter what the cats do the dog is always right there interferring anyways.

No, I have 2 crazy, nutty kitties who make me laugh all the time and they couldn't care less. actually, when they figure out that I'm laughing at them, they get even more nuttier. my cats aren't sensitive at all. especially my kitten who does anything he wants.

That is so funny. I agree with you. Seems as if they know what your thinking about them. Maybe they are just extremely sensitive creatures. You got to love them though!

Maybe it is just your cat because my cat just laughs along with me, and I can tell that she dose by the way she smiles and licks her lips!

yes indeed. That is because cats are smarter than humans, and they just do not need to be bothered by our ignorance of us not understanding why they are doing what they are doing.
