No, Not first, Iran and Syria had to severely threaten or attack first in order for the State of Israel to do that.
Not that they haven't already threatened, I mean every other presidential Speech, is about how the Jews must suffer and how they must be destroyed yada yada yada.
I'm surprised they haven't already fired Nuclear warheads at those idiots for running their mouths.

I believe this would be the weapon of last resort.
What is generally not realised is that Israel is in reality a minute country, should anyone (Iran) decide to fire a radiation bomb onto Israeli soil, the winds would spread contamination all around Israel's neighbours, these are: Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Syria & in addition some of the countries adjoining the Meditteranian sea would inevitably be irradiated to some extent.
Now if Israel were to use a nuclear bomb against Iran?, well Iran is in fact a quite large country.

Maybe we must accept that the decision in 1968 was a short sighted one. Europe suffered WOII, and because we felt sorry for the Jews, we let them have their 'holy land' on Palestinian ground, passed on from generation to generation for hundred of years.
The middle east had no involvement in WOII, and atrocities comitted against jews, but they have been picking up the tab for it since.
But perhaps the worst thing is, Israel is not sticking to UN resolutions of 1968, has illegal nukes, and defies international tribunal for war criminals in The Hague.. for a reason..
And from most reactions here, we may conclude that Israel is a nuclear threat and is capable of unleasing a nuclear war, with consequences that will NOT remain in the middle east, but will suck everyone into it and it will be the beginning of the end.
No wonder the arab nations want nukes too.. there's an imbalance of power, by self-proclaimed 'good guys' versus bad, and nobody, especially Iran, will just accept submission. Israel being a nuclear threat, is only more motivation for Iran to get nukes. And nukes scare the hell of me, but the arguments as to why it's ok for Israel to have them (Actually they are illegal, they were developped illegally in secret, defying UN resolutions), and not for Iran. Good guys do not defy international treaties and do what they tell others they can not.
Supression will never work, only inclusion.

I honestly believe they will. Let me explain, the region for too long has been a boiling point for some very horrific fighting and wars. This has caused the worlds oil supply lines and prices great disruption. Moreover, conventional wars have not and I repeat HAVE NOT done the trick to stop any violence over there for the past 10-15 years. Therefore, we [The USA] (via Israel) will be the ones to drop a Nuke to get their attention.

Don't think you have to worry about Israel firing the first nule. Didn't anyone read BBC where the Iranian president told Israel they had better pack up and leave. Didn't anyone read that Israel "pushed the button of its own destruction". Try to give the link may be expired.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/5208052.stm?lsm

I don't think they will unless or until Iran touches one off first. Or if they are in danger of being overrun. The world (in particular the US) would never stand for it.
It would be exactly as if the US fired it and that can never happen again.

No, it would kill just as many Israeli's with Radiation. Besides, Pakistan would probably nuke Israel afterwards.
Too bad American can't accidentally nuke the whole region and start over!

They should ! get all the Goldsteins, Goldbergs, Bergstiens , Wolfsteins out first then Nuke the whole Middle East. It will be cheaper - as it looks like my taxes are going to go up to re-patriate the terrorists.

That would be a bit extreme, though I am not sure I am opposed to showing Iran why we are worried about them getting one. (and yes, I am just being sarcastic here)
