a long process of what seems to be the question. Many people do not beleive in just a GOD they beleive in Gods and Goddesses. Maybe you should consider that there is more than one out there. What do you beleive in? Sorry just that I am wiccan so I belive in the elements and more than one God and Goddess, cuz if God was one person where did the child come from, but if there was a God and a Goddess they could create a child now couldn't they. Just a thought.

If he doesn't exist, and you believe in GOD, then you die, then no harm done, right? If you believed in GOD, followed the Bible, then die, and he doesn't exist, then you have nothing to lose and you lived a fantastic, honorable life, by living by the teachings of the bible.

If he does exist and you don't believe in him, the consequences are beyond imagination. Unfortunately some people believe that GOD does not hold us accountable for our actions. If we reject his son, Jesus, then we will pay the price.

I'm not TRYING to sound "preachy", but please just read.

I believe in GOD, because for one reason, I guarantee you I didn't come from no ape, or amoeba or a big explosion (big bang theory).

I would like to believe that someone who cared for me and cares about what happens to me, created me. I would like to believe that I am living for a purpose here on earth. If there is no GOD who cares why we are here, right? Commit all the crimes (or whatever else) you want. I would also like to believe that when I die, I don't just dissipate into nothingness. I DO believe all these things and have no doubt whatsoever that I am going to heaven when I die, because I believed in GOD's son Jesus Christ and asked him into my heart. That makes me feel great.

You at least might consider it and do some research.

Anyway, let me know if you want to become a saved Christian, I can help.

Have a great day.

I believe in God because His presence has been with me as long as I can remember. Much later in life, someone brought me to a good bible teaching church. I began to study the bible. I recognized Jesus Christ, He was the "presence" that had been with me as a little girl. I grew up in a house that was full of people who didn't like each other much. I knew there had to be an opposite of what I saw going on around me. There had to be perfect love, justice, mercy, forgiveness, kindness. All those things I found in Jesus Christ.

I love the bible. It has such wonderful things in it. God's promises for us, how to live, what's coming, why I don't have to be afraid. That He will never leave nor forsake me, that He loves me.

I love God too. And I am so grateful for His many kindnesses to me.

You don't believe that we magically appeared on this world...but you do believe that it was a long process?

I believe that no matter how long it took, or how it started, it seems magical to me. Life from nothingness? Thats incomprehensible to the human mind. Belief in a higher power only makes sense when you go from nothing to something as complex as our universe is.

Well who knows how you define preachy, but I believe in God because of the mountain of evidence. Oh my, there is an airtight case surrounding who Jesus claimed to be. The best explanation that fits the facts are these: God exists, and His name is Jesus the Christ.

Well I am glad you don't think we magically apeared. There is nothing Magic about what God has done in CREATING a universe. If you were in a desert and stumbled upon a watch would you think it "magically" appeared? Or would you think someone made it and later on someone dropped it. there.

I believe in God because I believe that he has saved my life. My youngest sister and I were in a REALLY bad car accident in 2000, and the Dr.s told my family that there was no hope for us. I was in a coma and my sister was almost brain dead. My family and our friends prayed for days for us to come out of our comas, and after 3 days we did...with no brain damage! That's why I believe. He gave me my life back and I am grateful! :o)

Because I have had ample evidence to prove His existence to me. All I had to do was be willing enough to admit hat God may be real. From that bare willingness came answers to the problems of life I had experienced since my earliest years.

Believer here.

So a scientist is laughing at a man who is in a debate on Creation, and says excuse me, so what you are saying is that they took two of each animal on the ark right. Two dogs, not two of each type of dog and says so you expect me to believe that we get St Barnard's from Poodles"

His reply was, well I am saying that we get dogs from dogs, you are saying we get dogs from dust. Which is more believable?
