While I will agree that God answers prayer and often times helps people in areas of their life, I'm just not real sure about cars and apartments.

God does not provide us with material items. Just as God doesn't not care what we look like on the outside. God is only concerned about what is in our hearts

As for all tv preachers, "Hells gates swing wide" , They are nothing more then fools. they often take advantage of people who do not have much to give, but because they believe they give . But it is just simple facts that they have been taken by a slick fool.

Hmm I would say that maybe he started to be content for what he had and came above his own motives until he can afford what he wants.
