it's a sin city,look at the advertisments there with women exposing themselves,the naked cowboy,and all the godless heathen trash. The whole thing is Satan's plan for the "Me,Me,Me" selfish people,get everything what you want ,whenever you want,just endulge yourself.
If you don't see it,you aren't seing it through spiritual eyes,only those who trust God's Word and his son Yeshua Meshiach [Jesus the Christ] fullheartly do.

Becoming? I'd think that L.A, New York, Amsterdam, and many other places have pretty much smoked what ever biblical debauchery Sodom and Gomorrah had going on. It probably had less to do w/ morality and the wrath of God, and more to do w/ the fact that those ancient cities sat on fault lines, and huge pockets of oil and natural gas. Sorry for interjecting common sense into a religious discussion.

We as a country are innundated with pornography, crime, internet sex, adultry, fornication, child abuse, etc...the list goes on and on. Unfortunately it is not limited to one city, N.Y., there are thousands of really good people there as I'm sure there are in San Francisco, Las Vegas to just name a few but we have abused our freedoms and nobody wants to offend anyone by 'judging'. I happen to be one of those and I'm not real proud of it but I do fear that if we do not turn back to God we will lose the bountiful blessing that have been bestowed on us when religious symbols, Bible reading in school, acknowledging a power greater than ourselves and truly having a country under God we are in for some very hard times.
Years ago Billy Graham said: "If God doesn't punish this country He has done an injustice to Sodom & Gomarrah."

There are a lot of good things that happen in NYC too, they just aren't advertised.
Preachiness turns people off to selflessness, so you are doing as much damage as those billboards.

you have mixed metaphors. Sodom and Gomorrah were flatten for homosexuality. If that is the case the other coast it is S.F better known as the gay by the bay. But most major cities qualify
