Me and my man are going to Bangers in two weeks, i'v ebeen there before but did'nt do or see much. Any recomendations for restaurants(veggi too), guesthouses, places to see and go? unusual and more interesting than temples temples and more temples please!

Take a boat (cruise) down the river (Chao Phraya). That's usually fun and you can see things you would not usually. There are also floating markets on the river. Some more touristy than others. Definitely go on the Chao Phraya.

Go to Khao San Road first. It's the main hangout for all the travelers and backpackers. You will find all the information and advice you need right there. It's in a suburb called Banglumpoo, quite near Democracy Monument, the Grand Palace and Sanam Luang. All the taxis know about it so you won't have any trouble finding it. Have a great time. B

definately take a cab, or train to pattaya beach....it's about roughly 1 hour from bangkok.....unbelievable bars there....
