Well even as a Christian I will say #2 is better. I dont mean that God doesnt belong in schools but it would pose the question "which God?" which of course would cause all kinds of trouble. I believe FULLY that there should be at least 1 parent in the home when children are off or let out of school and both parents should be present by dinner time. Old fashion I know, but children need both parents as much as they need vegitables. They can live without them yes,.... but for overall health and well being, both are nessisary.

Putting God Back Into The Schools, Because, Let's Face it. Even If Parents were to be put back into the homes, There would then be no Income to support the family.

Definitely number 2. If God was put back into schools, what would that really do for most of the troubled youth? I'm not bashing religion or god's affect on people, but the people who don't listen in school are the people who would need the message the most.

Putting parents back at home, however, would help everyone. Its not economically feasible for 90% of the population, though.
