You should change to a happy face. As it is, if I knew I wouldn't tell you.

half the responses to this are crap. There is nothing wrong with owning an "assault" rifle. on where to find one depends on the state you live in. I bought one from a friend, since he was a friend and needed money i gave him a little more than he was asking. but i got mine for 250 got two mags some ammo and a gun case with it. Be very careful about century WASR-10s they are cheap, and that is what mine is. but quality control on century sucks, and you might have to do some mods if you buy it new.

If you get a WASR-10 at a gun show, then take off the reciever cover, and look at the back of the sear to see if it has been ground down. This will tell you that the previous owner dremeled the rifle to make it work properly. century took a full auto sear and put on a semi auto action thats what causes the "trigger slap" you may hear about. also check the mag wells, as century leaves burrs that intervere with a mag. if the guy selling will let you, make sure an empty mag fits well (not too loose, but will actually lock in place). A little wobbling is ok, mine does and has never had a feeding problem. Just remember these rifles arent as picky as the M-16 you are used to, so you dont have to worry too much about things being a little loose. And these suggestions only apply to the rifles from century, which in my opinion are the cheapest you will find.

Good luck. and i hope this helps.

Go to gun shows and gun stores, they usually have aks. If you want more than a 40 round mag, expect to buy a $1000 RPK instead because the 100 rounders on the ak suck.

The only thing I know about is gunbroker.com. But it's a pain to buy a firearm that way, you still need a dealer or someone with an FFL to go through so why not just try the local pawn shops?

P.S. AK-47's suck

Join the military. Fight for your country. Maybe after you get a taste of the real world you will not need to have an AK-47. If you still want one I'm sure a military contact can get you set up.

Centerfire systems has some deals every now and then. Whomever said the AK sucks either sucks using one or has never shot one I've owned an AR and a Saiga and neither has jammed and both hit what I pointed at. It all depends on how deep your pockets are!

Try "the shotgun news". It's full of guns and accessories. You can look at 100s of companies from all over the world. You can also get 1000s of add-ons. It is my bible!
