I recently broke up with my boyfriend who has borderline personality disorder. It's been almost a month, and he was texting me and calling me constantly. That's died down a little, but now he's pulling things over myspace, which I think is about the most immature thing I've ever witnessed (posting bulletins that he knows i`ll see about me, and even some about my friends).
I know he's doing this for attention, and since I've been less and less responsive, he's being more and more obnoxious. I dont know what to do. I know that he wants me to contact him and thats why he's doing it, but I get so frustrated that I can't ignore it. Everytime I respond to a message or a bulletin or a text I can't help but feel that I'm playing right into his hands and giving him the attention that he wants, but I feel like if I ignore him he'll just keep going until I break. Any advise?

I've been offering to be his friend, but thats not good enough for him. I have made it abundantly clear that there is no chance of us getting back together, but he still has it in his head that he's going to win me back. The whole situation is so frustrating.

You can't put fire out with fire. You need to continue to ignore him. The people that you call your friends should be urged to ignore him too. If he gets no response from anyone he'll stop. Let him be the fool and you keep your cool. You are doing the right thing by not responding to his ignorance.

kick his a$$ just because he has bpd is not an excuse for him to be acting so immaturely. Talk to him. Tell him that you do not appreciate the way he is acting. Offer to be his friend... and mean it. Sometimes its better to pull away slowly with these types of ppl

heh he's your EX you dont have to deal with him anymore;) and if he starts to get violent on you call the cops for harrasment or just block him on myspace
