I have very long hair, past my butt, and its so hot in the summer. My boyfriend loves me to wear it down, but I like to put it up to get it off my neck. Why do guys like long hair so much?

it is what society has conditioned men to find attractive for thousands of years... it wasn't until the last 100 years that women started to experiment with short styles... it's like how men find certain ratios in women's faces and bodies attractive because of some ancestral fertility instinct... these things take time to shift so it's actually pretty amazing how quickly men have adapted to some of the dramatic changes in fashion over the last 100 years :)

I don't like it past your butt, but I do like it to stop somewhere in the upper back or shoulders. I like long hair like that so I don't feel like my lady is from the army or is a dude.
Halle Barry (sp?) is one of the only girls I like with short hair.

I used to have hair that long now its mid back .I think its one of three reasons depending on the man.One they think its pretty the hair its self two they use it as a form of controll like telling you how to wear it ,or three its just there taste.

I like women with shoulder length(ish) hair.
Some people find short hair attractive, some find longer hair attactive. It's just personal preference.

Most likely, because it's a cultural gender identifier - men have short hair, women have long hair.
There are men, though, who love shorter hair on women (I'm one of them).

i used to have bf who like long hair.
just dont cut 'em off. its a plus point for you so use it!
