If you want to cut it, cut it short. Then you won't have to worry for awhile. But leave room for pigtails or something.
Of course, if you are used to keeping it medium, I don't see any reason to question that.
Unreasonably some people may doubt or question your sexual orientation when it is short. But people attracted to lesbians (or people who some people think look like lesbians but are actually straight) might be more interesting. I'm too confused to tell you whether I fit the bill.
I think short hair can look good, and works as a change, but on average I prefer longer hair. I guess the question is if its a spiritual change or just the consequence of protracted boredom and or frustration.

I used to have long, long, long hair and went with a mid-back length. It was so much easier...then I went a little shorter (shoulder length) and liked it....now and for the last 10 years I have a short-short-short cut...if it touches my ears I get a trim! Try cutting a little at a time and see if you like it. Hair ALWAYS grows back right?! Good luck!

If you're really set on cutting your hair, maybe try just a little, it will be hard for you go from long hair to really short. My personal opinion: I wish more women would let their hair grow longer . Have a nice day!

May I suggest that you wrap and clip a towel around your hair for a "midway" look and check your mirror all around. Then raise it to "a short look" and check your mirror. Three mirrors would help. You will then see how you would look. Remember, some guys go nuts over long hair. You might consider contacting your beauty salon for donating any worthwhile cuttings DIRECTLY to cancer people for making wigs for affected girls. Take care and God bless.

If you need a change or desire a change don't, and I repeat don't go from loooong to short. I did and it was too much of a shock. I now have medium long hair and am happy! Stay on the looong side.

Well i don't know how you look but i would go with mid because too long look old fashion and to short make you look weird but just in between well make you look cute.

I would go with in between. I had my hair cut to my jaw one time and i didn't like it at all. I couldn't put it up in any. It was the same boring look all day every day.

Why do you want to get rid of your hair?!? Anyway, go in-between. That way, you can grow it out faster if you don't like it or cut it the rest of the way if you do.

Keep it long, and wear it in a braid wound into a bun, or a French twist, or something like that. Then you can still leave it long.
