I think they just tend to be less inhibited... don't mind looking like pigs... so they tend to do it in front of people more than women would. There are lots of guys (I have known some very well) who wouldn't NEVER fart in front of other people. A lot depends upon how they were raised, and particularly, if they had brothers or not. Guys who are raised in a predominantly female household tend to be more sensitive about that kind of thing.

Actually, women fart just as much as men do...
The only difference is that the female fart is more of a stealthier, "silent" fart, whereas the male fart is uninhibited....
more "in your face" and "out there" therefore it gets more notoriety.

Women fart, too. They're just mature about it and they keep it to themselves, instead of being all proud of it and telling people.

i think women fart just as much but they tend to do a better job at making is discreet.

My little sister's best friend whom we nicknamed Fartso will change your opinion of that in a closed room.lol.This little girl drops one every 4 minutes!!Its gross.Yet she's an exception Most ladies like myself want to hold a lady like image and that means not being so open about it.
