No turtle, just different colors.

I bought some Purple Green Beans from the produce store on Saturday to go in my vegetable stew. I wanted a variety of colors. Imagine my surprise when the purple beans turned green.

I doubt it. Did you know that todays vegetables are far less nutritious than vegetables grown 100 years ago. The fertilizers used and the genetic engineering are a contributing factor. With genetic engineering, the goal is to make vegetables last longer, not to make them more nutritious.

My own garden is organic. I don't use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. I do use sheep manure though.

Probably not. The most important variable is the cooking method. Boiling veggies removes alot of the vitamins and minerals.

I don't know, I don't buy them because they scare me! My cauliflouer should be white and my brocolli should be green..
