Boys are nicknamed sons because they think the whole world revolves around them. I have 2 girls 10+6. and a boy 3. But really I think it evens out in the end and all children are beautiful AND demanding!

Evey child is different and it also depends on the habits you allow your child to pick up as they get older. I have two girls, 4 and 5, the 4 yr. old does almost everything on her own- very independent. My five yr. old we call "Ms. High Maintenance"...extremely demanding. I think it's because I spoiled her a bit when she was little and now it's just a part of her. I see where I made my mistake...it's all in what you do.

I think that boys are less needy and demanding. My son is so independent it scares me! He's two. Having helped (lived and taken care of) my families 5 girls, I can honestly say I enjoy having a boy.

I guess all children are different, but I love having a boy!

My daughter was so much more demanding than my son. A girl thing, or a 2nd child thing????

Yeah, I would say so. I have 3 girls and they are so demanding. I also helped my sisters with their kids....I have 9 nephews that I helped out with and understand them more than I understand my 3 daughters and my 3 nieces...LOL...they want, they need, they are EXPENSIVE!! But its not a real bad thing...I wouldn't change my 3 daughters for anything in the world....they are so fun and funny...Its great.

It doesn't depend on gender, it depends on birth order. Usually the second born child is more demanding. It can also depend on the child's behavior. If the first child is difficult, the second child is usually easy, and vice versa. It's Murphy's law.

I dont think so. Girls tend to find things to do with themselves, therefore thay are not demanding anything. Boy's are different because they demand attn. and always need things handed to them therefore they are very demanding.

Not in my case- the boy is more demanding, and takes more training.

I think my son is very demanding and little girls seem to be more independent.
