Gettysburg,PA is so called haunted from the civil war. Im trying to go to a bed and breakfast place there that is apparently haunted...they also give ghost tours in that area.. That would be cute for a weekend event for your guest. Heres the link to the place I'm talking about. Also, keep in mind that this isnt the only B & B and/or haunted place in the area
good luck and best wishes :)

The Farnsworth Inn Bed & Breakfast in Gettysburg, PA...it's seriously haunted (and believe me, I'm a professional medium!). There's also Lily Dale, NY (about 1 hour north of Erie, PA) and that's a little spiritual community where mediums and clairvoyants live. They have a beautiful auditorium, two hotels and other buildings that are all haunted, not to mention it's lakeside view is amazing. Salem, Mass. is pretty cool too!

if you are willing to come to Ohio, there is a mansion in Trinway that is called Prospect Place. It used to be on the Underground Railroad and is said to be haunted by slaves that were running. Also there is also said to be a child and a wife looking for her husband. The paranormal activity increases around their war reenactment times and also in the fall. Here is a website so you can check it out. http://prospectplace-dresden.com/ there is a link for ghost hunts, etc.

I know of at least one story of people encountering a ghost in this place...my best friend used to work security for the company who owned it at the time and it was one of his co-workers that it happened with.

have you ever checked at any of the convention halls? it is a good position to have a Halloween wedding ceremony. What about having a wedding ceremony in a graveyard at evening? i do not understand in case you should legally attempt this, yet i guess you should attempt.

using a search engine like Yahoo's or google, type in something like "haunted places in PA" or use the name of the other states you mentioned..you'll get a bigger list that way.
