Are there natural springs in southern California where you can swim?

I grew up swimming in frigid springs in Florida- are there any springs out in southern california?

Not many springs where you can swim. There are swimming holes all over the place and the water is very frigid. We just went up in the area of Sturtevant Falls. Check site below for more info.

Yes! There are many hot springs in southern California (e.g. http://www.totalescape.com/active/leisure/hotsp.html), but you can also find cold swimming holes, especially in the Los Padres National Forest. You can also try the Cold Spring trail in Santa Barbara (http://www.santabarbarahikes.com/hikes/frontcountry/coldsprings.shtml).
