It sounds an odd question, but it is correct. French Guyana is in South America, but it is French, is part of the European Union, uses the Euro as its currency etc - it has full European status despite being in South America. So do St. Pierre et Michelon, two island a couple of miles of the Canadian coast.

If you're trying to ask which country in South America speaks French.... the answer is French Guiana. French is the official language in the Caribbean islands of Haiti, Martinique, and Guadeloupe too, but technically, this wouldn't be considered South America.

I think you are talking about french colony in south america. I don't any in south america. I know some in central america like Ste-Lucie, St-Martin, La Martinique; there must other ones...
