They were coming on to him because he is from Germany, probably speaks with an accent and is DIFFERENT. Girls always fall over themselves for a foreign guy with an accent, no matter how he looks. I've had British and German guys tell me they turn it on a bit more because they know American women fall for that. But an American in the UK or Germany... the women there don't care that he speaks with an "accent". They aren't turned on by American accents.
That's why the pretty college girls were talking to him. And I'm guessing they weren't giving you much of a second thought.

OK, whoa, whoa, whoa!!!! I know you must mean Jurgen. For one thing, the man is a friggin' pole dancer in a male stripper club. What do you mean "not all that hot"? The dude's got a rock-hard bod that don't quit!! Besides, the accent is charming, he actually has a real job too (architect), drives an adorable little Mercedes sports coupe, has a great personality, and acts gentlemanly and mannerly.
Girls on a college campus? As in girls smart enough to go to college? Well DUH!!!!!! So they had the brains to know a catch when they saw one, huh? Gee.....You add alcohol to that scenario, and I'm quite sure they were hanging all over him, just like they are everywhere I see him.

Okay, you don't know that they're "easy." They could all have been hoping to meet their future husband that night. But even if they were looking to get lucky, so what? Alcohol lowers inhibitions, that's how pickup bars came into existence.

They lack a substantial level of self-respect, which leads them to value their own bodies and reputations much lower than they should. Might also be conformity to a standard that's always been set for them by their peers that they cant seem to break free of.

I would think it's because they are on their own now and not under the watchful eyes and rules of the parents. They believe that they are all grown up and this is their way of showing it to the world.
