Disasters are allowed by God and sometimes it is Satan who comes to steal, kill and destroy!
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Satan had to ask God for permission to destroy Jobs family and possesions. Read the book of Job
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for naught?
Job 1:10 Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
If you read the whole story God is always faithful even when we tend to doubt Him. God can create natural disasters and He allows Satan to inflict them on mankind.
When people don't want God in their lives, God says O.K. and He removes His protection from them and that is when Satan comes in and inflicts harm on them.
So people shouldn't get mad at God and curse Him when these things happen to them its NOT God's fault. When they live in Sin they, reap the consequences.
Only God will restore those who gives God the glory and praise, because they stayed faithful to God when things looked grim even to the point of death.
Satan hates it when we praise God and don't curse God. Especially when he (satan) tried his best to destroy our lives, health or loved ones.
God knows who is loyal and faithful to Him when things get rough. He knows who are not loyal to Him and are not faithful.

The question we need to ask ourselves is what makes a hurricane, earthquake etc a disaster? Is it not only when there is loss of human life that we call it a disaster? Therefore, if humans stayed out of nature's way, we would not have disasters!
This is a utopian world no doubt because the cheapest lands to live on are the ones prone to hurricanes and floods etc. But relegating disasters to an act performed by God is not the answer to why so many disasters take so many human lives.

The disasters area a act of nature coming from a sin-filled world. Ever since adam and eve first sinned the perfect world God created started to go downhill. And during the last 5000 years or so it just keeps getting worse, and it will keep getting worse until it is our time to go 'home'.
so basically, the natural disasteres all come down to satan and sin

Not. Disasters are part of the effects of sin on this world. God loves us desperately and it hurts Him incredibly every time something goes wrong like that.

Well I personally say No.Because hardly anybody really wants anything to do with HIM anymore. Most people now-a-days bow down and kiss the a s s of the one who hates them.So it would seem to me that he would be the one who deserves the credit for all negative circumstances on this planet. But nobody wants to give GOD a chance. They just refuse to read HIS word and pass judgement on HIM.All without even getting to know HIM first. What a crying shame.May GOD Bless You.

Disasters are ways of nature to tell us the earth is renewing or humankind hasn't acknowledged its significance.
