It rarely bothers me...I try to do what I feel is best for myself, and others if my choices or words affect them...if I had to make a decision and I knew some people would be hurt, I'd be sorry about that but the fact is that rarely will any of us do anything that any significant number of people all agree on or approve of...
All we can do is the best we can do and then go forward knowing our intentions were good...

Well I had a bad conscience since I was a kid. Whenever I did something slightly wrong I would always have to confess to my mother and father by the end of the day. Now my conscience is not as bad as when I was a kid. But I would definitely choose to help many and hurt a few.I mean if you hurt someones feelings they will get over it.But if you don't help someone when you know you can help them, wouldn't you feel worse?

Life is unfair. There can never be a solution to anything that will please everyone and hurt the feelings of no-one. So one looks at the problem, the possible solutions, and decides on the best course, no matter whose feelings might be hurt. It is called making mature decisions.

Some one will always have their feelings hurt, no matter what the solution is. Don't worry about it.

A basic cost/benefit analysis handles that. The action that produces the greatest good for the greatest number is the correct one.
