What are some foods that are HIGH in fiber that someone can eat everyday (easily without having to go out and buy a fridge full of food)

beans are good
dark leafy greens, like spinach, or collard/mustard/turnip greens are normally pretty good
prunes are good
an easy way is to get a soluble fiber supplement, like Benefiber or something, and add it to whatever you drink.
Also you can get breads and other common foods that have extra fiber added in, and they generally aren't too much more expensive than the normal kind.
granola is good too, and rather compact for how much fiber you get from it.

beans, canned and in the bag,and broccoli,and veggies,and fruits,and whole grain breads,and also, malt o meal hot cereal,and believe it or not, oatmeal. Yes, Oatmeal is high in fiber! Drink water though,to make sure it is absorbed into the body,otherwise you'll be constipated.

alot of breakfest cearals are

legumes (peas, soybeans, and other beans)
oats
some fruits (particularly apples, bananas), and berries
certain vegetables, such as broccoli and carrots
root vegetables, such as potatoes and yams (the skins are insoluble fiber)
psyllium seed (only about 2/3 soluble fiber
whole grain foods
bran
nuts and seeds
vegetables such as green beans, cauliflower, zucchini, celery
the skins of some fruits, including tomatoes

I eat a bowl of Nabisco Bran Shredded wheat minis Cereal every morning. Add what ever you like. It's sugar free too. Very very good for you and quite tasty.
