Yes, I have six toes. But mine are divided up five on each foot.

If your brother went to get a pedicure, would they charge him extra?

That is very rare but obviously it happens.... NO I don't have six toes on each foot but my aunt on my mothers side did. My grandmother was given the option by the doctor to have the extra toes removed before the baby even went home. You see....babies heal better and not to mention, they won't remember having to go through the pain of the procedure. I think the percentage is very low in the U. S. but quite high in other places in the world like in Asia.

No I don't have six toes. It's not exactly common, but some people are also born with six fingers and six toes. I forgot the medical name for it....I believe it starts with a "P". Unless it becomes a problem, then the doctors won't mess with it. I couldn't tell you of the percentages, but I'm sure it's not a high percentage. Best of luck to you........

To answer your first question; no, I have a total of 10 toes (5 on each foot).

As far as your second question goes, I have not a clue but I would think that genetic mutations that lead to extra toes are probably pretty rare.

"Polydactyls have six or more digits on their hands or feet. The extra digits vary from small pieces of soft tissue to apparently complete digits. In Western societies, they are usually surgically removed during early life, but not always.

The condition is reported in about 1 child in every 500, although the frequency varies greatly from population to population. It is higher in some groups (an example is the Amish in the United States) due to the founder effect."

I have never met anyone with 6 toes on one foot. My biology teacher though had no legs but fingers instead of thumbs. That was kind of weird to have him hand you something.
