Duct tape occlusion therapy involves placing a piece of duct tape (or medical tape) over the affected area for a week at a time. The procedure is otherwise identical to that of using salicylic acid adhesive pads. A study found that the duct tape method was 85% effective, compared to a 60% success rate in the study's cryotherapy group.

Other household remedies include the application of common household things, such as banana skin, vinegar, hot water and washing liquid, aerosol sprays, tea tree oil, or unskinned potatoes, to the affected area. Accounts vary in regards to how long they must be applied in each session and how long they take to work.

Without controlled studies for most household remedies, it is difficult to know whether the warts disappear because the remedies work, or if they disappear due to the individual's own immune system response to the virus (possibly augmented by a placebo effect). The success of hypnosis in curing warts at least suggests that the condition may be cured by belief in a remedy, the placebo effect or other psychological means.

Some household remedies are potentially dangerous. These include attempts to cut or burn away the warts. Incense is sometimes used in Asian countries to burn warts. These methods are very painful, and can lead to infection and/or permanent scarring

Yes old cure for this is grounded back pepper and put a past on the wart and it turn black and fall off or rip bannna and rub it on the wart and it should go away in few days. For Verrucas this is much hard to get rid of. Again some swear by using black peper. How you do it is rub some black peper with you own spit and rub it on the Wart or the Verruca and it will I swear turn black and fall off in few days. It has word for years that old cure.

Some of these answers work for some people. Most are hocus-pocus.
There is one which works - it's called podophylline. You need to get your GP to prescribe it (he will be reluctant/may refuse). It is toxic, but follow the instructions and it will work - guaranteed. Don't use it if you're pregnant. Cover it with an occlusive dressing. It kills the virus responsible for warts/verrucas.

Good luck

warts feed from your blood and the root is deep and hard to get rid of it by normal rememdies, but there is one way that is guaranteed to work.

Since the root is deep and the wart is like a caully flower look you need to starve it of oygen. In order to do this is to dry the wart up and it falls off.
To dry the wart, just go to your local store and buy paint remover.....be advised that this is can be bad for certain people, but it damn sure worked for me...............take a small dab of the pain remover and place it directley on the wart....be advised that it will sting a little, but that's normal.
What it is doing is sucking out all the moiture you have in that wart and a week later it falls off.

well , there many ways of removing them. usually they might be recurrent , but they r sufficiently removed they may not come back again.
1st way is applying acetic acid drops on the wart itself, ofcourse diluted. b4 that u should protect the area of skin surrrounding the wart by applying vasline to it inorder to avoid burning sensation in the normal skin. with this , u should put ur feet or ur fingers , whatever, in warm water for like 5 min every night, this will help them to copme off.
2nd method & it's for big ones or deep ones , usually by electrocautery , by which they r removed permenantly.

A wart will eventually be killed off by the body naturally. Not quickly but it will happen

All you have to do is buy a box of matches, not to set fire to the wart. But just spit on the sulfa and rub it on the wart. This will work. I promise you
