Should I put light pink streaks in my blonde hair?

Why not? Sounds cute.

The only cons:

Will it have a negative impact on your career (i.e. is your workplace too conservative for a few pink streaks)?

It can be REALLY tough to get red tones out once they're in. This is doubly true if you already have chemically treated hair.

I used to bleach my hair and then use Fudge Paint Box to dye it fire engine red. Looked awesome but the red used to stain my towels and pillowcases and, when I got sick of it, it was a nightmare to get out.

Since you're going for light pink, if you're not thrilled with it, it will be easy enough to cover with another color. If you want to go back to single-process platinum, you can try to bleach it out, but it may not lift all the way so you may have to wait for it to grow out.

I think it sounds like a fun change with pretty minimal long-term impact.
